Enter your costs and the margin you need. This tool works backwards through the platform's verified fees to the lowest price that still hits that margin.

Margin here means net profit ÷ order base, where order base = selling price + shipping charged. The tool solves: order base − product cost − shipping cost − platform fees − (Shopify subscription ÷ orders, for Shopify only) = target margin × order base. It searches for the smallest order base that satisfies it, then subtracts shipping charged to give the selling price. If the platform's percentage fees already exceed 100% − target margin, no price can reach the target, and the tool says so instead of inventing a number.
Worked example (defaults): Canada, Etsy, cost $15, shipping cost $6, shipping charged $8, target 40%. Etsy percentage fees total 10% (6.5% transaction + 3% processing + 0.5% regulatory). Order base = ($15 + $6 + $0.20 listing + $0.25 processing fixed) ÷ (1 − 0.10 − 0.40) = $21.45 ÷ 0.50 = $42.90. Selling price = $42.90 − $8 = $34.90. Check: fees $4.74, net $42.90 − $15 − $6 − $4.74 = $17.16 = 40% of $42.90.
Amazon is not in this tool, deliberately — not an oversight and not a “coming soon” badge. Amazon referral fees vary by category (roughly 8% to 45%) and FBA fees depend on size and weight, which this tool does not collect, and Amazon’s Seller Central schedule is login-gated and could not be verified from an official page. No Amazon numbers are shown rather than guessed ones. See the Fee Index for exactly what is missing.
